I'm Marie, but you can call me Ary!Starting as a self-taught artist, after studying Game Arts for 2 years in France I moved to Canada and started freelancing in illustration.Most of my inspiration for art came from mythology, legends and folklore. I work with authors, publishers, and creative teams who need artworks for professional use. Commercial rights are offered as add-ons so you can choose exactly what you need. Licenses are non exclusive and have a usage limit.

  • +25% Online Marketing. Using the art for ads, social media promotions, websites, newsletters.

  • +25% Print Marketing. For PR boxes, flyers, prints without profit etc.

  • +50% In-Book Printing. To use the artwork inside the book, to illustrate pages.

  • +60% Merchandise. For products you sell (prints, stickers, apparel, bookmarks)

  • +70% Book Cover / Dust Jacket. For front cover, wrap-around covers. +$200 for lettering and spine.

Additional Fees

• NSFW will be charged +20% of the original price• Additional character(s): +80% on top of the original price, per character.• Props, pets, or other items like crowns, jewelry, horns, weapons, wings etc... may result in additional fees. (15-50$)• If I am required to design an original character or any prop from scratch, the price will increase as it requires more working time.• For commercial/professional inquiries, please reach out so we discuss it further.

Updates & Delivery

• Email updates are provided at each stage; Client approval is required to proceed.• Completion takes 2–6 weeks after sketch approval, depending on complexity and workload.• Specific deadlines must be communicated upfront; expedited requests may incur a fee.• Final delivery: 4K PNG and HD watermarked version via WeTransfer.

Payment

• 25% upfront via PayPal or Wise (USD) upon booking your slot.• Remaining 75% upon agreeing on a sketch.• Major changes on the commission such as entire outfits, poses, background passed the sketch stage may require a fee based on the additional workload.

Cancellation & Refunds

• If the Client cancels after work has begun: no refund, and the Artist may reuse work.• If the Client cancels, the Artist keeps the 25% deposit for compensation.• If the Artist cancels: full refund will be issued to the Client.

Usage and Copyrights

• Artist retains full rights and ownership of all artwork.• Client may use artwork personally only; commercial use requires agreement.• Artwork cannot be used in AI, blockchain, NFTs, or cryptocurrency projects.• Artist may showcase artwork for promotion.• Client may share artwork online with proper credit.

LICENSE

1. Personal

• The Client is allowed to use the artwork for personal use only. No monetization is allowed. Reselling or commercial printing is not allowed. The Artist is still allowed to use the artwork commercially (website marketing, online promotion etc).• The Client may require to postone the commission for up to 3 months. Client must make sure to advise the Artist in advance.

2. Commercial

• The Client is allowed to sell the artwork and use it commercially for either games, bookcovers, promotion, etc, depending on the license the Client bought. The Artist may still use the artwork on social media and portfolio.• The Client has the right to postpone the Artist post of the illustration up to 5 months. If the Client requires a postpone, the Client needs to tell the Artist in advance.

3. FULL

• The Client receives full rights on the commissioned work. The Artist may not use the artwork for their purposes anymore, unless specifically agreed with the Client.
